Beginning
Microspun Products Ltd. Was brought to life in the July 1998. The company was raised from the assets detached from the Company Secura Nova Ltd., which in the years 1994-1998, together with the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Processing of Warsaw Technical University was running a research program upon filtration. The developed solutions were patented and implemented in production in Microspun Products.
Activities 
The company has a character that combines research, development and production. We provide industrial solutions in the domain of filtration of liquids and gases. We design and produce filtration systems. We are also a producer of machines and devices for manufacturing filter cartridges upon our own, unique technology. We run a scientific reaserch program in the field of new filtration technologies and techniques. The realisation of those activities is in strict cooperation with the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Processing of Warsaw Technical University, the leading scientific center in the World. We are a producer of a large spectrum of filtration materials and cartridges from various polymers, based upon meltblown technique. We produce absolute cartridges for depta filtration using: polypropylene (PP), polyamide (PA), polyester (PBT), Polyphenylene Sulfide (PPS) that are applicable in the following industries:

Because our strategic target is the assurance that our products are of the highest quality and repeatability, we implemented a SCADA system for gathering and retaing data, that allows us a full traceability of every single filter cartridge that leaves our production plant. Every filter cartridge is marked with a unique code, that allows us to identify: the date of production, raw materials, production parameters, operators, person who packed it and sent to customer.. To improve the quality of the products, we implement the elements and tools of the SIX-SIGMA quality management method in our procedures.
Development
The production and reaserch potential of Microspun Products and the research potential of the Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Processing, allows solving all filtration challanges. The cooperation with the Technical University of Warsaw, upon the written agreements, generates new technical and technological solutions, provides the implementation of new filtration processes and new products.
Recently we are running the R&D program that includes:
- Increasing the efficiency and lifetime of absolute filters,
- Aerosol filtration.
- Developing of the production of nanofibers from different polymers,
- Designing filtration materials and cartridges with the nanofibers
- Developing technology of producing nanofibers with implemented electrical charge (electret fibers).
